Project |01 Interviews
​

From January 2012 to October 2013, I was contracted by UBC's Child and Family Research Institute to translate interviews conducted in Quebec for a joint study with the Institute National de Santé Publique de Québec. The study involved the translation of 92 interviews, ranging between 1000 and 15,000 words, from French to English. The interviews featured numerous idiommatic expressions and complex syntax issues.

Project |02 Legal Documentation

2012: Hired to translate a series of French legal contracts related to film production and release rights for Oddfellows Entertainment Inc.

 

2013 and 2014: Hired to translate Driver's Licence Attestations.

Project |03 Academic Translation and Editing
​

2012-2014: Translated multiple short fiction pieces as the lead instructor for senior-level University courses in French-English literary translation at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour in Pau, France.

 

2009-2011: Edited multiple articles (in French and English) for Making Sense: for an Effective Aesthetics (Collins and Rush, 2011) an academic volume in Peter Lang's European Connections series that resulted from a conference held at Cambridge University's Department of French.
