  • Received the highest score for student satisfaction (5*) on teaching evaluations from all three undergraduate year groups.

  • Courses taught: French-English Translation (2nd year, 3rd year, and Master's level), Media Studies, Academic Conversation and Composition, and General Linguistics.

  • Independently designed the syllabi, course content, assessment methods and final exams for courses in all three years of the undergraduate Licence. Promoted to the direction of Master’s seminars in translation and discourse analysis in my second semester and second year (2013-2014).

 

Freelance Translator, contracted by the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada

  • Provided translations of 92 interviews (ranging between 1000 and 15,000 words) from French to English for a bi-lateral, multi-year study of gender, parenting, and injury in Canada.

  • Liaised with research directors in both Vancouver and Quebec City, and completed the project 6 months ahead of schedule.

  • Total words translated: 152,000.
